The current pandemic didn’t stop the Best Information Technology Students (BITS) headed by Paolo G. Duya, BITS President as they conducted a webinar last April 10, 2021 via Google meet with the theme “The Rise of Online Learning During Covid-19 Pandemic: Best Practices, Challenges and Future Possibilities” which was discussed by the guest speaker, Christopher Rey San Jose, LPT. The event was attended by the students and Professors of the Computer Studies Department.
Christopher Rey San Jose is Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology – College of Our Lady of Mercy with 18 units of Education taken at Liceo De Pulilan. He is also a College professor in various IT related courses such as Multimedia Arts and Animation and various Computer Programming subjects, a Former Tesda Trainor in Visual Graphic Design NC III Program, Bulacan’s First Visual Graphic Design NC III Assessor, A Licensed Professional Teacher, DepEd Bulacan Teacher’s Guide and Learner’s guide writer in Animation NC II, One of Region III Participants of AlCoB Internet Volunteer Program on ICT and E-Learning Training: Capacity Development of Teachers hosted by DEPED, Ministry of Education of Korea and APEC, One of the Best Trainee of AlCoB Internet Volunteer Program on ICT and E-Learning Training: Capacity Development of Teachers, One of the writers of DEPED industry-Aligned Specialization under the Senior High School Program in Game Development, Alternative Delivery Module Illustrator / Line Artist and a Freelance Graphic Designer and Web Developer.
The webinar heightened the awareness and skills of the participants regarding the practices, challenges, and further possibilities of online learning in the future. The webinar was one of the series of online co-curricular activities scheduled by FCAT for 2nd Semester 2020-2021.
