The Elementary and Junior High School (JHS) Departments of Fernandez College of Arts and Technology (FCAT) held their respective end of school year rites through Google Meet and streamed on YouTube and Facebook Live. The theme for the two events was “Strengthening the Quality of Education Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic”. The events included the Graduation of the Grade 6 students, moving up of the Kindergarten and Grade 10, as well as the recognition rites for all students.
Dr. Marcelo V. Fernandez, the school President, gave the Words of Wisdom followed by the Welcome Address by Dr. Erwin Rommel Y. Fernandez, the school Principal, for both events. This was followed by the presentation of the graduates and movers by the respective officers-in-charge and confirmation by the Principal. For the Elementary Department, graduation speeches were given by Princess Mina A. Fukaya and Missy Jayla M. Tiongco as representatives of their graduating classes. For the JHS, inspirational speeches were given by successful alumni of the department, Haezellene Mae L. Ocampo, CPA and Ma. Cezther Ann S. Ponce, LPT. The moving up address for the JHS batch 2020-2021 was given by Jasmine Alizza Rosete. This was then followed by the awarding of academic and non-academic awards for the graduating and non-graduating students for SY 2020-2021. Finally, the moving up and graduation song was presented by the completers and graduates.
FCAT congratulates all the awardees, movers, and graduates along with their proud parents. Despite all the challenges of the Pandemic, you completed this school year with flying colors. Kudos!
