Fernandez College of Arts and Technology (FCAT) continued the tradition of passion for excellence this school year 2021-2022 despite the challenges of the pandemic and online learning. The graduates and students of the school performed with flying colors in various board examinations and competitions held during the school year. In the area of board examinations, FCAT continued to perform with seven Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) board passers this school year in the Secondary and Elementary levels. The school also showed a strong performance with twenty-six board passers for the Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE) last Jan. 2022. In addition to this, the school also produced eight licensed nurses in the May 2022 Nursing Licensure Examinations with a passing percentage of 72.73%.
The school also did not flag behind in its performance in technical courses producing fifty-nine certified receptionists who successfully passed the assessment for Front Office Services NC II for school year 2021-2022. The school continues to be one of the major training centers for technical courses in a diverse area of technical skills such as hospitality management, care giving, and agriculture offering training and scholarships in cooperation with the Local Government Unit (LGU) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The students and faculty of the school also bagged prizes in various competitions with John Mar L. Maglanque and trainer Christian B. Dela Cruz bagging the Gold Medal in Floristry in the June Bulacan Provincial Skills Competition. Further, Ms. Iana Khay F. De Leon, one of FCAT Senior High School’s graduating students, was awarded as one of the JCI Baliwag Buntal Youth Leadership Excellence Awardees for 2022. Last but not the least, Ms. Princess Mina Fukaya, one of FCAT’s Junior High Students bagged the 1st Runner Up in the Junior Idol World 2022 Teen Category held in Bangkok Thailand. Truly, FCAT promotes excellence and the students and faculty never fail to deliver. The FCAT family is proud of you all.
